When is the "X" shipping?
First off, thank you for being our customer! As you might imagine since all of our production is pre-order based we get asked a variation of "when is my kit shipping" almost daily. Therefore, we've created this page to answer your question without overpromising a date.
The simple answer is "when it's ready." We do not intend to be condescending but a large part of our production schedule is simply outside of our direct control. That's why our pre-order date estimates typically use "expectations" which means approximately or "our best guess."
In general, the best way to get an estimate is to pay attention to the email newsletter where we give accurate shipping timelines for kits once we have everything "in-hand." From there, you can order the kits on our collections page by release date and make the same educated guess that we can. We always attempt to align our production schedule to the release schedule although there's sometimes a bit of variability if kits don't include figures or have other complications that pop up. Further, when multiple kits are delayed - we often delay selling additional kits even when the delay is outside of our control.
Finally, we are an extremely well-funded company founded on ethical business principals. Your pre-order investment is in good hands. In fact, as of the writing of this page we've been in business for over four years and had exactly one product returned (pre-order cancellations are more common).
We are sorry that you even felt the need to ask when your kit was ready. Please believe that no one wants you to receive your kit and be happier with it more than we do. Thanks again for being our customer!
